4. Payments

– All payments are made in pounds (£).
– Accepted payment method: Revolut.
– Payment must be completed at least 24 hours before the scheduled session.
– If payment is not received within this period, the session may be automatically cancelled.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

You may reschedule a session up to 24 hours before the scheduled time at no additional cost. Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance may be transferred to a future session as a credit. This credit is not a cash refund and must be used within the applicable package validity period, where relevant. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, or no-shows, may be charged in full. Where a cancellation results in a charge, Fluent Nomads will take into account any costs or losses that can reasonably be avoided or recovered. Exceptions may be made in cases of genuine emergencies or unforeseen circumstances, at the discretion of Fluent Nomads.

6. Lesson Packages and Validity

All lesson packages must be paid in advance in order to confirm the booking. Packages are non-transferable and intended for use by one participant only. Lessons included in a package must be used within the following validity periods:

– 5-lesson packages: valid for 2 months
– 10-lesson packages: valid for 3 months
– Monthly intensive and in-person packages: valid for 1 month
– Hybrid packages: valid for 3 months

Any unused lessons after the expiration date will be forfeited and are non-refundable. A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full. In case of cancellation, the class will be rescheduled at no extra cost.

7. Late Arrivals & Attendance

Lessons begin and end at the scheduled time, whether online or face-to-face. If you arrive late, the session will continue for the remaining scheduled time only. Time lost due to late arrival cannot be made up or refunded. If you are more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, the session may be considered a no-show.

8. Participant Responsibilities

For online sessions, please ensure you have a stable internet connection and a quiet environment. Participants are expected to be punctual and to arrive at the agreed location on time for face-to-face sessions. Respectful communication and behaviour are expected at all times. Participants are expected to follow any reasonable instructions provided by Fluent Nomads, the venue, or event staff during face-to-face workshops and events. Participants are responsible for checking time and location details before attending a face-to-face event or session. For online sessions, participants are responsible for checking time zone differences when booking. Participants should inform Fluent Nomads in advance of any accessibility, dietary, or other requirements that may be relevant to their participation in a workshop or event.

9. Fluent Nomads’ Rights

Fluent Nomads reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a class in case of illness, technical issues, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, an alternative date will be offered. Fluent Nomads may update or modify these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The updated version will be published on the website and will apply to future bookings.

10. Face-to-Face Events & Workshops

Some workshops and social events take place in venues outside Fluent Nomads’ premises. Participants are expected to take reasonable care of their own safety and to follow any reasonable instructions provided by Fluent Nomads, the venue, or event staff. Participants are responsible for informing Fluent Nomads in advance of any accessibility, dietary, or other requirements that may be relevant to their participation in an event. Fluent Nomads will take reasonable steps to provide a safe and suitable environment for all participants. However, participants remain responsible for their own personal belongings and for taking reasonable care while attending face-to-face events. If an accident, illness, or other emergency occurs during an event, Fluent Nomads may take reasonable steps to assist the participant and, where appropriate, contact the emergency services or a relevant emergency contact. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under UK law.

11. Intellectual Property, Recording & Privacy

All materials, resources, recordings and documents provided by Fluent Nomads during lessons or workshops remain the intellectual property of Fluent Nomads and may not be copied, reproduced, shared, distributed or sold without prior written permission. Participants may not record, photograph, screenshot or otherwise capture any part of an online or face-to-face lesson or workshop, including the teacher’s image, voice or contributions, without the teacher’s prior consent. Any recording or image made with permission may only be used for the purpose for which permission was given and must not be shared, published or distributed without further consent. Fluent Nomads will not record lessons or workshops for promotional, training or other purposes without informing participants in advance and obtaining any consent required by applicable data protection law.

12. Privacy & Data Protection

Fluent Nomads collects and processes personal data, such as names, email addresses and contact details, for purposes including communication, booking and payment administration, service delivery, and the management of lessons, workshops and events. Personal data will be handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection law and will only be shared with third parties where there is a lawful basis to do so, including where necessary to provide the service, comply with a legal obligation, or protect a person’s vital interests in an emergency. 13. Liability

While every effort is made to ensure quality teaching and the smooth delivery of all lessons and workshops, Fluent Nomads is not responsible for interruptions or delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including internet or platform failures, technical issues, venue-related problems, transport disruption, or other unforeseen circumstances. This does not affect any rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable UK law.
