Spanish Lessons

Spanish that Fits You

We believe good language teaching starts with listening. That’s why we take the time to understand what you need, what you’re finding difficult, and what you’d like to achieve in Spanish, and adapt each session to you.

Our teachers are qualified, experienced, and native speakers from Spain. They bring structure and expertise to every session, while keeping things flexible, personal, and genuinely human.

Learning materials are included to support your practice beyond the classroom.

How it works

A simple, personal approach to learning Spanish

Getting started is easy. Once you get in touch, we’ll arrange a free first meeting to get to know you, talk about your goals and understand where you are with your Spanish. We’ll use this first session as an informal assessment. There are no written exams or tests. It’s simply a chance to have a conversation, identify your strengths and challenges, and work out where to begin. From there, you can book individual lessons or a package of sessions, depending on what works best for you. Lessons are available online or face-to-face in London.

Lesson times:

Monday–Friday: 8:00am–9:00pm
Saturdays: 11:00am–3:00pm
All times are in UK time.

Face-to-face lessons take place in public spaces, such as cafés, primarily in EC3, London. If you would prefer to meet in another area of London, we can arrange this subject to an additional tutor travel fee.
Weekend lessons are also subject to a different rate.

Meet Your Tutor

Qualified teachers. Native Spanish

Your lessons are led by qualified, experienced and native Spanish-speaking teachers from Spain. Our tutors bring professional teaching expertise to every session, but we believe good teaching is about more than following a textbook. They take the time to understand how you learn, what you find challenging and what motivates you. You’ll learn Spanish as it is spoken in Spain, while also discovering the diversity of the wider Spanish-speaking world. Our tutors are also fluent in English, as well as other languages. This can be particularly helpful at beginner level, when having a shared language can make learning feel more comfortable and accessible.

What your lessons look like

Less grammar overload. More using Spanish.

Our lessons are designed to get you using Spanish from the start. Whether you join us online or in person, your sessions are supported by our e-learning platform, with practical and engaging materials that you can also use between lessons. We believe grammar matters but learning Spanish shouldn’t mean sitting through long, complicated grammar explanations. Instead, we combine clear structure with conversation, practical activities and cognitive approaches to language learning, helping you understand how Spanish works and use it naturally.

In each lesson, you might work with:

Conversation and real-life communication
Vocabulary and useful expressions
Listening and comprehension
Speaking and pronunciation
Grammar through practical context
Music, videos, images and other authentic resources
Games and interactive activities

Most importantly, we want you to feel comfortable making mistakes, experimenting and speaking without fear of getting things wrong. Because that’s how language learning happens.

Learning doesn’t stop when the lesson ends

Support between sessions

Your learning doesn’t end when you leave the classroom. Depending on your goals and level, your tutor will give you activities and resources to practise between sessions.

Your work can be reviewed and commented on, giving you useful feedback and helping you stay on track. You’ll also have your tutor’s support when you’re studying independently. They can recommend resources, activities and ways to keep developing your Spanish beyond your lessons. And Spanish isn’t only about language.

Throughout the year, Fluent Nomads organises free social meet-ups where you can practise Spanish, meet other learners and connect with people who share your linguistic and cultural interests.

We also organise Spanish workshops and Culture Clubs for anyone who wants to explore the Spanish language and Culture in more depth.
