Welcome to Fluent Nomads. By booking a class, short course, or consultancy service with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking or payment.

Fluent Nomads is an online educational business offering Spanish language lessons, cultural workshops, and consultancy services for clients around the world.

2. Services

Fluent Nomads provides:

– Private one-to-one Spanish lessons conducted online (i.e.: via Zoom).
– Cultural short courses and consultancy services for professionals seeking communication or presentation training.
– Downloadable materials and merchandise.

All services are delivered primarily online unless otherwise stated.

3. Bookings

Bookings can be made via the Fluent Nomads website, through email, or using the online calendar system provided.
A booking is confirmed only once payment has been received in full.

4. Payments

– Payments are accepted in euros (€).
– Accepted methods: Revolut or PayPal.
– Payment must be completed at least 24 hours before the scheduled session.
– If payment is not received within this period, the session may be automatically cancelled.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

– You may reschedule a session up to 24 hours before the scheduled time at no additional cost.
– Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance are eligible for a credit (rescheduling for a future session).
– Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session, or no-shows, are non-refundable.
– Exceptions may be made in cases of genuine emergencies or unforeseen circumstances, at the discretion of Fluent Nomads.

6. Lesson Packages and Validity

– Lesson packages are valid for 90 days from the date of the first session. Unused sessions after this period will expire automatically.
– Prepaid packages or bundles with a discount are non-refundable once started.

7. Late Arrivals & Attendance

– Lessons begin and end at the scheduled time.
– If you arrive late, the session will continue for the remaining time only.
– Lost time due to late arrival cannot be made up or refunded.
– If you are more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, the class may be considered a no-show.

8. Student Responsibilities

– Please ensure a stable internet connection and a quiet environment for each online session.
– Be punctual; if you are more than 15 minutes late, the session may be considered a no-show.
– Respectful communication and behavior are expected at all times.
– Students are responsible for checking time zone differences when booking sessions.

9. Fluent Nomads’ Rights

– Fluent Nomads reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a class in case of illness, technical issues, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, an alternative date will be offered.
– Fluent Nomads may update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be published on the website.

10. Intellectual Property

All materials, resources, recordings, and documents provided during lessons or workshops remain the intellectual property of Fluent Nomads.
They may not be shared, copied, reproduced, or sold without prior written consent.

11. Privacy & Data Protection

Fluent Nomads collects personal data (such as name, email address, and contact details) solely for the purposes of communication, service delivery, and marketing of Fluent Nomads’ offerings.
Personal data will never be shared with third parties without consent and will be handled in compliance with standard data protection principles

12. Liability

While every effort is made to ensure quality teaching and smooth online delivery, Fluent Nomads is not responsible for interruptions caused by external factors such as internet outages, platform failures, or user-side technical issues.
